Dr. James Sorrento
Dr. James Sorrento grew up locally in Revere Massachusetts. He graduated from both Boston College High School in 1983 and Boston College in 1988 earning him status as a “double Eagle.” He graduated from Boston University Dental School in 1992.
Dr. Sorrento spent his first seven years of dental practice serving the towns of Wellesley Hills, Milford, Winchester and Billerica Massachusetts. In 1999, he purchased the dental practice of Dr. Tom Moscarillo, here in the wonderful community of Ipswich.
Dr. Sorrento is committed to bringing the latest techniques, materials and technology to his dental practice to assure that his patients are receiving the most current and advanced dentistry available to them. He also believes in investing in his staff to be as highly trained and licensed in their scope of work.
He strives to educate our patients on the importance and benefits of total dental health. Our media today has confirmed with the dental profession the links between dental health and general physical health, particularly to heart disease and diabetes.
Dr. Sorrento's ultimate goal is for his patients to feel great about their dental work and happy to be treated in a friendly environment.
Dr. Sorrento has several hobbies and interests. Artistically he enjoys oil painting, photography and playing guitar. Most of the local photography pictured on our website was taken by him. He loves attending live concerts and aspires to perform himself some day. Jim also enjoys playing golf and skiing in the New England area. He is married with two children, two dogs and lives locally.

Amy
Amy works chairside with Dr. Sorrento. She has worked in the dental field since 1999 and joined our team in 2010. She completed her radiology certificate in 2000 and is currently working towards taking the DANB test this year.
Amy currently resides in Beverly with her husband, daughter, and two yorkies. She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and knitting. |

Caitlin
Caitlin was raised in Ipswich and graduated high school in 2001. Her interest in dentistry began shortly after, when she was recruited by Dr. Sorrento, and changed from patient to employee. Caitlin has been Dr. Sorrento’s assistant since 2002. She completed her radiology certificate at the Massachusetts Dental Society in 2003. Over the years she has worked in almost every capacity within the office and it makes her very knowledgeable in all aspects of the dental business. She can be counted on to pay close attention to the needs of the people that she serves. It is her goal to offer the best quality service in patient care.
She has recently completed her clinical certification through the Dental Assisting National Board Program. |

Celeste
Celeste
became a team member in May 2009. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 23 years, and has worked in both periodontal and general dental practices. She attended Bentley College and Quinsigamond Community College and has degrees in Business Administration and Dental Hygiene. She is currently licensed to administer local anesthesia.
She lives in Beverly with her husband, two children and her dog. |

Jayne
Jayne works chairside with Dr. Sorrento and with the hygienists. She joined our dental team in March of 2011. Jayne is new to the dental profession and has become very proficient in the latest technology in our office. She is becoming talented in the Cerec procedures we perform for our patients daily. Her excitement about the profession and warm friendly manner helps puts our patients at ease and assures quality of care. Jayne is certified in radiology and is working toward her CDA.
Jayne currently resides in Gloucester and enjoys spending her free time with her active little boy and staying fit with regular exercise.

Rachael
Rachael has been with the practice since 2004. She has been a hygienist since 2003, and graduated Phi Theta Kappa from Middlesex Community College with an Associates degree in Science. She is currently licensed to administer local anesthesia.
Rachael has 14 years of experience in dentistry, having spent 4 years of that time assisting at an oral surgery practice. Rachael is a New England native, and grew up near Wingersheek beach in Gloucester. She currently resides in Rowley with her husband, two sons and two crazy Jack Russell Terriers. |

Shelley
Shelley joined our team as front desk coordinator in January of 2010. She uses her past experiences in banking and customer service to work with patients scheduling appointments, submitting claims, and answering patient questions. She also supports the remainder of the staff as needed.
Shelley grew up and attended Ipswich schools; shortly after getting married she spent eight months living overseas and gained an appreciation for small town life. She currently resides locally with her husband and four spoiled cats.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, knitting, and reading a wide variety of books. |
