Sorrento Dental now offers sedation dentistry! Nitrous oxide inhalation, commonly known as laughing gas, is a sedation technique to allow for a more comfortable dental experience. This dental technique is best suited for cases of mild to moderate dental anxiety and is the most frequently used sedation method. Under nitrous oxide patients remain conscious and able to breathe on their own, with a sense of total well-being. Many patients take advantage of this type of sedation to ease anxiety while undergoing procedures to fix dental issues that have been plaguing them for years.
